Outta Skool is a community based Social Enterprise and we specialise in school activities. The organisation was set up in 2005 by likeminded colleagues with over 30 years of experience between them in working with young people and schools. We saw a need to bring all the activities under one organisation to help schools find what they are looking for and more importantly offer schools value for money.
Over the years we have worked in many schools in Oldham on many projects, to name a few: We have hosted the annual "Oldham Skools Can Dance" at the Queen Elizabeth Hall which we are in our third year. This project involved in offering schools free dance sessions and then bringing them all together to perform and demonstrate their skills. "Lost Village Games" which we are currently working on which is to revive and conserve games played in the villages of India, Bangladesh and Pakistan for the current and future generations.
Our aim is to offer a service and experience that is unique and different. All our activities are non mainstream and different from what the school's curriculum offers.
The range of activities we offer are to help the social and personal development in young people which is just as or sometimes more important than academic development. Our activities raise confidence, cultural awareness and leadership skills in young people.
We offer customised programmes to suit your requirements so whether it's a one hour lesson, half a day or a full day of themed activities, a weekly after school or holiday club, we can help. All our staff are insured, expert in their chosen field, fully trained in Child Protection and CRB checked for your peace of mind.
